Beautiful::Africa

After some months of not having short-term volunteers at Beautiful Gate, we started this year with a bang! We began with seven volunteers. Three Dutch girls served as support care staff in the baby houses, two Dutch girls helped with a research project and one American helped as a substitute pre-school teacher. The one lucky American guy amongst them is planning to be here for nine months to serve in an administrative role.

It is a joy to have the volunteers serve with us as they bring a different dynamic to our center. Additionally, it is exciting to watch them learn about a culture different to their own. They all love the babies and enjoy being involved in their lives. We hope to maintain a continual flow of volunteers through the year as our staff adjusts to a new system of running our care center. Please join with us in prayer for these volunteers as they serve with us.
